The sun came out to play and made a great day for almost 30 riders who took part in our Spring Orienteering event, which ran from Langshot Equestrian Centre on Sunday 26th April.

Teams of twos, threes and fours set off at timed intervals and made their way around a 2 hour course that covered much of Chobham Common and Valley End, answering questions and picking up clues on their way.

Congratulations to the eventual winners of both long and short route - (long route winners pictured below on their return from the course, slightly jaded and possibly a bit saddle sore?)

Thanks to Lucy and Lee, the proprietors of Langshot for hosting the event, to Kelly Lewis for setting out the trail and officiating, and to Sally Watson for assisting and providing the catering.

The Club plans another Orienteering event in September, likely to be held at Epsom Downs.
